Our History
Hammond and Company Ltd was founded in 1939 by Charles Hammond and is situated in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, close to the confluence of the M1 and M25 motorways. The business activity of the company was then, and is now, precision gauge and tool making.
In the 1970s, we expanded into the specialised field of Deep Hole Drilling and are the UK's only manufacturer with an internationally acknowledged expertise.
