Groove Gauges

A precision measuring instrument designed specifically for checking the diameter of internal grooves — a notoriously difficult measurement in engineering. The gauge uses the same spherical anvil technology as the ROK-IT Bore Gauge range, providing a quick, positive readout with a dial resolution of 1 division = 0.02mm. The spherical anvils eliminate the need to carefully align the gauge with the workpiece axis, effectively de-skilling what is traditionally a highly operator-dependent measurement. ROK-IT Groove Gauges can be manufactured to a variety of designs depending on the configuration of the workpiece. Custom designs are available — consult Hammond's technical department.
